Brie Underwood-Duemig is a passionate and dedicated dance instructor, choreographer, director, judge, and creative entrepreneur. Beginning her training at age nine, she has had the privilege of learning from and competing under some of the best in the industry. Her mentors include Cheryl Copeland, Quinton Weathers, Heather O’Hara, Alexa Moffett, Erica Sobol, and many others — not to mention her own students, who continue to challenge, inspire, and refine her artistry every day.

From 2013–2020, Brie was the owner of Evolution Dance Collective and Director of EVOLVE Dance Company in Leander, Texas. Following that chapter, she served as Director of North Austin Dance Artists at The Dance Academy and later as Director of Rise Dance Collective at The Dance Spot in Round Rock, Texas. Across each role, Brie became known for cultivating dancers who embody professionalism, creativity beyond their years, and strong technical foundations. She is deeply committed to individualizing training to fit each dancer’s personality and goals, building both technique and artistry while preserving innocence and authenticity. Many of her former students now teach in studios and on conventions, choreograph professionally, and contribute meaningfully to the dance community and beyond.

Brie has judged for Intrigue Dance Intensive, Hype Dance Competition, 8 National Talent, and Fire & Ice Dance Competition, and has served on faculty with Tribe Dance Intensive. She also mentors and consults for dance studios, supporting directors in building sustainable, artist-centered programs.

Now based in Fort Worth, Texas, Brie continues to pour her heart into creative work while raising her two sons, Cedar and Story. In recent years, her passion for dance has naturally expanded into photography. What began as choreographing and assisting with movement-based shoots has evolved into Brie stepping behind the camera herself, capturing dancers and families with the same attention to detail, storytelling, and artistry that define her work in the studio.

Whether in rehearsal, in leadership, or behind the lens, Brie is driven by a love for movement, community, and helping others feel seen.
